The Company employs over 60 individuals in its headquarters as well as approxi mately 300 skilled workers at project sites throughout the region. With a strong track record in refurbishing and transforming the interiors of many five-star hotels in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Maldives, Singapore, Sri Lanka and around the ASEAN region, Can-I consistently achieves annual revenues of around RM100 million. Meet the Can-I Interior Fit-Out Directors
Lau Eng Hua, Executive Director Having been with the Company since 1996, Lau is the go-to person for materials, fittings and carpentry work. He is a natural problem solver, and is consulted by both property owners as well as designers for solutions during the course of any given project. He has been a key player in many major Can-I assignments, including renovations and refurbishment of such notable properties as The Danna Hotel & Resort, Berjaya Hotel & Resorts and Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort, all in Langkawi.
U Mun Liang, Operation Director Since 1995, U has been in charge of operations for many of the Company’s most distinguished projects, including comprehensive work for Club Med in Nusa Dua, Bali, the Michael Gallery and Chihuly stores at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore, the F&B outlets and Mezzanine floor of Cheras Leisure Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and an Interior Designer by training, U has an exceptional grasp of layout plans and material usage, but his main strength is his affinity for people; approachable and patient, he is often on the front line explaining complex issues to clients, or discussing plans with partners.
